Infrared Spectroscopy

Infrared spectroscopy - short term IR spectroscopy- is the part of spectroscopy dealing with infrared part of the electromagnetic spectra. A lot of techniques are covered, most of them are dericates of absorption spectroscopy.

As similiar to all techniques of spectroscopy Infrared spectroscopy can be used for identifying compounds or investigating sample compositions.
